Fellow painter Jane and I laugh about this corner as being magic. Anything looks good here. I've just barely done it justice. 10 x 7 1/2 inches oil on 1/4 inch masonite panel.
I painted this from a studio set up alla prima (wet into wet paint) It was a balancing act. Roses always get you with all their charm so I had not to make too much of the enticing flower in order for the painting to be balanced. 8 x8 oil on canvas panel.
"Little Onions" is 7 x 5 inches oil on mylar. I painted it using my light box (explained on eBay listing)
I was struck by the delicateness the setup presented in this lighting. Everything was high key and close in value. Creamy white in many variations.
