"EEL AT RICHARDSON'S GROVE"
The weather has been delightful with plenty of sunshine so plein air painting is a must. Winter light fascinates me be it overcast or sunny. I'm drawn to the outside. I like storms too but wimp out when it come to painting in it. We're looking Southward here with the grove behind me. Caltrans plans to widen Highway 101 through the grove and EPIC is campaigning to save the grove from encroachment. Less than 4% of the original Redwood forests remain and these ancestral trees should be protected for future generations. For more information or to bid on eBay CLICK HERE SOLD
