The challenge here was 'white objects on white cloth' and was completed over three days.  I deliberately took my time so as not to get lost in all the subtle value transitions and to keep it fresh.  It is 12 x 12 " oil on stretched canvas.  To bid on eBay CLICK HERE

"BACK YARD SCENE"

This started out plein air....just recording all the many greens and shadows and the corner of an old fenced area where I plant my corn.  The bird and cat were added later from photo reference.  It's a familiar site around here.  I have lots of cats and they're ruthless hunters.  This is oil 10 x 8 inches on canvas panel. Lately we've been drawing and painting the figure clothed and  I find this very exciting to change approaches. Clothing breaks up the figure into such nice shapes and really can make a painting more manageable.  This is oil on canvas panel 10 x 8 inches.
